Performing and creating as Hut, Jelani Kazmende is an entrepreneur, music artist, executive producer, screenwriter, published author, restaurateur, and media executive. For nearly a decade he has built businesses and entertainment properties around a single idea: give creators and entrepreneurs a place to own what they build.
In 2016 he founded Hustle Nation Inc., a company built to empower entrepreneurs through technology, education, and networking. That same year he became a published author with the independent novel The Bill Collector — one of the year's best-selling indie releases, now the foundation for an upcoming feature film adaptation.
As Founder & CEO, Jelani is leading the redevelopment of the Hustle Nation platform for a 2027 relaunch — a distraction-free network where entrepreneurs, creators, and innovators can connect, collaborate, and grow. He is also the founder of Hut Media & Film Productions and owner of The Muzik Hut recording studio, where local and international artists write, record, and develop their work.
His creative journey began in music before evolving into screenwriting and film. Today he oversees a growing catalog of feature films, television series, and podcasts — and, driven by faith and perseverance, continues to expand across technology, entertainment, hospitality, and events.
